Physical Education
We are proud of our extensive range of PE both within the curriculum and extended clubs. Parents are encouraged to see the great value of PE as a contribution to their child’s health and well being and request that a letter be sent in to the teacher should a child be unable to participate for any reason.
We have our own heated, indoor swimming pool and children swim weekly, either in the school pool, or, for older children developing their distance, diving and lifesaving skills, at the local pool at Harrow Lodge. The school pool has recently been refurbished following a huge fund raising initiative supported by parents and the wider community.
You will recognise that swimming is of vital importance for your child and we rely on generous parental contributions to sustain this facility in the future. Further opportunities are provided for Key Stage 2 children to participate in a range of outdoor pursuits at Stubbers Adventure Centre.
